The Black-and-Red got a point on the road against a stout Chivas USA defense. Santino Quaranta's wonderful goal in the 85th minute gave D.C. United the tie . . . and then he tried to get Bryan Namoff to give him a piggyback ride.
He offered the following about the game:
On the team's come back:
"I thought the team fought back. Chivas is good at home, they've done well all year. I think that the guys that came on (substitutions) did a great job and it's good to get out of here with a point."
On his performance:
"I was just trying to make plays and I had a pretty good second half tonight. But I'm happy with the team's result."
On his goal:
"I tried to get it on frame and I struck it perfectly and it moved a little bit and went right down inside the corner."
On the team's six-game unbeaten streak:
"It shows our resilience. We have a very deep team and we fight back and play the full 90 minutes. We're getting results and everybody is pretty happy."

im happy. chivas is undefeated at home so for us to go there and comeback to tie is phenomenal. plus the goals were beautiful.

No complaints from me, great comeback against a very good team on the road. I'd like to see a damn win soon. The reason we are not getting those Ws is our D. Buck up, boys.

By the way, i saw Santino's goal and when he kicked it, Gomez was a foot on sides, so even if he did touch it, it would have been good.
