Yesterday, D.C. United hosted a bone marrow drive in partnership with DKMS and Soccer Unites Utah. Our Director of Community Relations, Aprile Prtichet, passed along a quick recap:

Even though it was a rainy, dreary day, more than 100 people including D.C. United staff and fans showed up to be screened at D.C. United's bone marrow drive in support of Marcia Williams. In addition, almost all of the D.C. United players were tested in hopes to be a match. It is such a great thing when the community comes together for such an important cause.
