United captures a 2-1 win in its third game of the pre-season, defeating the Puerto Rico Islanders at Estadio Juan Ramon Loubriel in the city of Bayamon. Second half goals from Christian Gomez - from a freekick in the 58th minute - and Clyde Simms - a 35-yard blast in the 66th minute - were the difference. The Islanders only goal came on a penalty kick in the 90th minute and just before the final whistle.
