My first trip to DC and time seeing United on Oct. 16.
Seeing Jaime record his 99th assist and Francis Doe scoring two in the comeback win.

Aww, do I really have to pick just one?
I suppose it would have to be, almost by default, my very first United game way back in April - DCU 4, RSL 1.
But so many great moments, including (in no particular order): my first SE tailgate, shellacking the Gals on nationwide network TV, the US Open Cup win, and the October home win against the Revs, which I suppose I'd have to rank #2. It was such an incredible roller coaster of a game, and the taste of victory at the end keeping our playoff hopes alive for one more week was so, so sweet.

The U.S. Open Cup tournament game against Chicago at the soccerplex in Germantown, MD. was an absolute war. D.C. winning in O.T. with a corner from Jaime to the head of Brian Namoff to score the game winner! Who could forget watching Blanco escorted off the field by police after he assaulted Clyde Simms, and Marc Burch putting him in check.
Otherwise, it was meeting Jaime Moreno outside of the soccerplex during the previous game against the Rochester Rhinos. He was all class and very gracious!

Out of all the wonderful things that happened this campaign, sadly I can't get that Columbus game out of my mind. 3 points would have brought us clear of the Pink Cows and we would have been doing our playoff dance. It was a cruel season. I thought Fred had a fantastic season when he was fit. He was instrumental in our Cup Final Win over Charleston and for me, he really delivered this year!

1) US Open Cup final. Went to the game alone and loved every bit of it.
2)Watching United destroy the Galaxy on National TV.
3) Finally getting home and away jerseys for my daughter. She asks for hers and then goes to the closet and points to mine so we can "match". :-)
