Fred assists Wellington's win

Fred's six-game loan to the Wellington Phoenix continued Friday night with a match against his old club, the Melbourne Victory. It was Fred's new club that came out of the game victorious, earning a 2-1 win over the Australian side. United's crafty midfielder was instrumental in the win providing the pass that led to Wellington's game-winning goal in the 58th minute.
The Phoenix have now won three games in a row for the first time in its history - the last two coming with Fred on the pitch - and are in position to make the A-League's post-season.
