11/06/2008 11:13 AM by Cris Cruz
With a 2-0 win over Saprissa last night, CD Marathon eliminated the Costa Ricans from the Champions League. The Honduran side had already clinched a quarterfinal spot with their win over D.C. Only one game remains in the group stage of the tournament, Houston Dynamo vs. CD Firpo on Nov. 26, which will determine the second team from Group B to advance to the knockout stage.
