Photo(s) of the day: Reading is fun!

D.C. United players love to read. The shots above are from a recent photo shoot conducted at RFK Stadium for United Reads, one of the signature programs of United for D.C. - the club's non-profit arm. The photos are going to be used for posters, flyers and the like to encourage reading at D.C. area schools. More photos from shoot right here.

Two unrelated questions: first, I'm assuming the US Open Cup Champs swag will be in for the Dallas game and second, who won the predictions from last week's game? Yours truly had a horse in that race.
Now onto captioning these things...

I'm all for encouraging kids to read, but this is hilarious!
I can imagine their teammates gave them some shtick too when they saw how entertained they were by such gripping novels such as "Horton Hears a Who" and "Happy Birthday to You"

My three year old son loved seeing this. The Very Hungry Catepillar is one of his favorite books. That was great. Thanks Kyle!

Kyle, how can I get a poster or two when these are printed? I'd love to hang one in my son's class. Thanks!
