Photo of the Day: Gallardo is back

Marcelo Gallardo is back in the district after about two weeks of rehab in his native Argentina.  Media spoke with United's #10 and here's a few excerpts, via translation and my poorly written notes:

"I feel a lot better and I hope to finish the season on a positive note... The most important thing was to get rid of the pain I was feeling all the time... I hope to play a few minutes on Saturday, but don't think I'll play tomorrow... It was really hard to watch the team go through that [recent losing streak] and not be able to help... It would have been easy for me to sit back and not play the rest of the season, but I want to work to come back and help as much as I can."

Well that's a welcoming sight indeed.. The sooner we can get him in the game, the better!

Is that Michael Palin from Monty Python on the left there?

    Kinda looks like him

Yes, that's him. Mr. Palin now covers us for the Washington Times. Good eye.

Definately a good sight, but hopefully he doesn't push it too much to ruin the rest of the season.

It was hard to watch them loose without being able to help, but it would of been easy for him to sit out the rest of the season?

    Hey Kyle!
How about a little something more.. Like is DCU even going to try to beat Cruz Azul? Also does the club have any interest in giving out some tickets to help the fans in these troubling financial times?
With Goff out of the picture, a lot of folks are wondering what's going on.
