Devon McTavish: Hometown Hero!

We sure have seen a lot of hero talk lately. First, it was Tony Limarzi comparing Luciano Emilio's efforts to that of a superhero.
Now, it's ABC's TV3 out of Winchester, Virginia calling local product Devon McTavish a 'Hometown Soccer Hero.' Devon was both born and raised in the town that sits about 80 miles west of D.C. with a population of just over 25,000. Last year, he served as a special celebrity guest in the town's Apple Blossom Festival parade (which included Wayne Newton as Grand Marshall!). I'm told that when Devon returns to Winchester, the entire town shuts down.
TV3 came out to training on Tuesday to talk to Devon about his time with D.C. United. You can read the full article and see a video segment on their website.
