DCU 2 - Chicago 1: The goals

06/08/2008 8:53 AM by Kyle Sheldon

After watching last night's goals again this morning, I was impressed by two things: 1) that cut back from Emilio on the first goal was just sick - he slid past three defenders, kept his balance and got off a great shot that led to Moren's put-back. 2) What a perfectly weighted ball from Dyachenko on the game-winner. He put it into space right into Emilio's path with his first touch. Check 'em out again...

A much better game all in all, however, "Lathardo" getting a red card was a bit selfish on his part, as a leader, he needs to show that he's about the team, not about himself. "The name on the front of the kit is more important then the the name on the back" - from the movie "Goal! The Dream Begins".

Beautiful! Beautiful! A storm knocked out our power about 12 minutes into the game. I checked this site as soon as I got up this morning to see the results. Made my day!

Was that Luci on the field or Preki?

Hell of a performance from Luciano when it mattered most!

Haha! Yeah he did have some sweet cuts.

Crazy drama in that game. 3 reds and a stoppage time winner. Luci deserved it, he had a great game.
