The new Volkswagen Lounge

More photos on the Video & Pics page. As impressive as the new room looks - and it is awesome - what's really impressive is that VW's crew turned this thing around in just a few days. Like I've said before, they don't mess around! One of the photos on the Video & Pics page is of some sort of VW GTI racing game, which looks like it's going to be a lot of fun!

The lounge likely won't be open to the public, but I'm sure there will be opportunities to check it out for future events. Stay tuned right here and we'll keep you posted when those opportunities arise.

I am sure the designers have come to conclusion after exploring options but I really think a bright blue color inside the VW logo would have provide nicer look and note simply plain white logo on the black shirt. It will certainly look great on the away jerseys. Oh well.

Where can I get a copy of some of the Modern Pop Art work? That's awesome. I doubt the wife would allow me to hang it on the walls now, but it sure would rock to have in a future game room.
How long has the renovation been going on? Is this something that V-dub threw together since Tuesday or it have they been working on it for a few days now?

ArlingtonforUnited - in fact, the League has restrictions on all kinds of things in regards to the logos on the front of the kits. You can be sure that we and VW looked at a lot of different options for the front of the shirt and felt this look was the best.
TCompton - the "Modern Pop Art" work is one-of-a-kind, designed by a company VW hired. The renovation was just started at the end of last week. I'm not sure of the exact time they started planning for it, but it hadn't been more than several days. Like I said, they flew!
