The team is back at it this morning after flying in from Salt Lake yesterday evening. Coach Soehn will run the guys through training Mon-Wed this week in advance of Thursday's game with the visiting Columbus Crew (8 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

Of note, Liberian forward Francis Doe will join the team this morning on trial. He most recently played for the New York Red Bulls, notching two goals and an assist in eight games (four starts) in 2007. He was waived in February of this year. Prior to signing with New York last year, he played for Atromitos FC (Greece) from 2005-07 and for the United Soccer League's Minnesota Thunder from 2004-05. Doe is 22-years old and has also seen time with the Liberian National Team, participating in 2006 World Cup qualifiers and 2008 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

It should also be noted that Doe's nickname is "Grandpa." We don't know why.

Is he projected to spend time on the wing if he makes the team?
