Justin Moose to Vancouver Whitecaps [updated]

Justin Moose is heading northward.
We'll soon officially announce that the midfielder will be joining the Vancouver Whitecaps. In order to make the move happen, Moose was waived, per his request. The USL-1 side now has three players that last year were members of the Black-and-Red: Nicholas Addlery, Jay Nolly and Moose.
For those of you that met Justin during his two-plus years in D.C., you can attest to the fact that he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He's also a whiz on the guitar and I'll forever regret not finding the time to follow him to one of his local gigs with a video camera.
Justin was originally drafted by the club in the first round (seventh overall) of the 2006 MLS SuperDraft, making just one first team appearance (for one minute on the pitch) during his rookie year. Last year, he saw time in seven games (four starts), totaling 319 minutes on the field. He also holds the distinction of being the topic of the first-ever Access United.
Best of luck, Moose.
UPDATE: I should have linked to this before, but you can listen to some of Justin's music on his MySpace page.

Good Luck Moose! If Vancouver gets a MLS bid, will they still be able to claim him on their roster? I also wonder about Seattle, they have some quality players. I wonder if they will be able to retain them?
